October Top 6.

Goodmorning! October has always been one of my favorite months. I love the change in weather and the pretty colors that come along with it. I thought I would share with you today what I had been loving throughout this beautiful month!

Rose Hip Oil.

I saw this in Winners and thought it was really cool! I’d never tried a hydrating body oil before and thought it would be a good alternative to my daily moisturizer. And hey, if I didn’t like it I thought it would make a cute decoration in my bathroom with my perfume bottles. There are roses floating in the bottle. How cute! Turns out I actually love the smell and the texture is very different then what I thought it would be. I expected it to be very oily but it sinks into your skin right away.

Fairy Lights.

Sorry. I’m not paying 25$ for a string of fairy lights. At Homesense in the Christmas aisles you can find them for around 12-20$ depending on how long the string. Personally I like the warm cozy atmosphere they create.

Copper Cutlery.

With the holiday season around the corner I thought it was a good idea to invest in a nice set of cutlery for entertaining. I’d been in the market for a copper cutlery set but they were all way over my budget. That is until I found this set by David Shaw. It was on sale around 70% off on AllModern.

Aldo Boots.

I’ve been wearing the heck out of these boots. They are so simple and classic but add so much to any outfit. They are really awkward to walk in at first but once you break them in, they’re perfect.

I took a risk and ordered these pillows online from RoyaleDesign. I’m very picky when it comes to interior decorating. I like Scandinavian inspired designs and was able to find this from the brand House Doctor. I like how all my pillows have different textures. There are some that are velvety and others that are quite coarse. And the simple designs on some of them add a little pizzazz.

Fluffy Throw.

I love anything fluffy and soft. I got this throw from Walmart and literally come home and wrap myself in it everyday. I usually through it over the couch too. It’s the same color as Nelly so when she sheds it disguises in the blanket. Bonus!

Obviously I haven’t been doing a lot of clothes shopping because of my Capsule Wardrobe Experiment. I’m so proud of myself for spending money on things I want for my apartment instead (and christmas presents, won’t lie). Have you started Christmas shopping?
