My Makeup Collection,What’s left: Eyeshadow & Palette Edition.

I think this is a reasonable amount of eyeshadows right? As many of you already know, I’ve been doing major clear out because I want to live a more minimalistic lifestyle. While setting this up I managed to get rid of another 2 eyeshadow pots! Even though I wear eyeshadow everyday, I find that they tend to last soooo long so I don’t buy new ones very often. As I’ve mentioned before I find powder eyeshadows very irritating on my eyes which is why I opt for cream eyeshadows.img_3650img_3655img_3672

Urban Decay Naked2 Palette: I’d always wanted a Naked palette and I decided to purchase one last year. Overall I’m slightly disappointed with it. Don’t get me wrong, the colors are amazing but on the down side they really irritate my eyes and the quality is not what I expected, I find it creases easily. I’m sure this palette works great for other people maybe my eyelids are too oily and my eyes too sensitive. The reason why I’m keeping it is because I spent so much on it and there’s every color I could ever want. I can handle it on my eyes every so often. I’m sure I’ll use it up!

Nicka K New York Quad Eyeshadow: This is by far my favorite palette that I have, and I’ve hit tin! I’ve never heard of this brand but I received it in my Ipsy bag. It stays in my everyday makeup bag and I use it everyday, unless I have a special event which requires a bit more oomph. If you have brown eyes you neeeeed to get this, it complements brown eyes so well!  I’ll be repurchasing this because the colors are amazing, the quality is great and for once it’s a powder palette that stays put and doesn’t irritate my eyes.

NYX & Ipsy: I also received this in my Ipsy. I don’t wear it often but I thought it would be a great palette to travel with because of the size.It has the basic essentials and the packaging is very small. Although I have the same colors in my Naked Palette, this one is a lot more compact if going away for a day or two.

I’ve done a blog post on all of these cream eyeshadows, if you’d like to know more about them check out Cream Eyeshadows You Need to Try. But on a side note. The Laura Mercier Caviar Stick is the best cream eyeshadows I have ever used. I will definitely be repurchasing once I’m done.

The top cream eyeshadow pot is also in my Cream Eyeshadows You Need to Try blog post…

Benefit My Two Scents Cream Pot: This ones slightly darker than my favorite (one at the top). Overall it’s just a great neutral. The formula of Benefit cream pots are soSoso gooood. They also make a great base when you want to apply a powder eyeshadow on top.

Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in Mudcake: I kept this one because I don’t have a mineral eyeshadow nor anything in this color. This color is very intriguing. In the photo it looks like a charcoal deep purple color but if you take a glance from a different angle it can appear to be gold orangey toned. Very interesting. Maybe it’s high tech and changes color based on your body temperature? I should look into it.

The Balm Eyeshadow in Cabana Boy: This pairs really well my my Clinique Chubby stick. Obviously I blend a whole lot when I wear these two together and add a neutral so I don’t look like I’m from the 80’s :p

Glamour Dolls Double Trouble Duo Eyeshadow: Again I kept the thought of traveling in the back of my mind and thought this would save me loads of space. I also tend to wear both silver and gold around the holidays to be all festive 🙂
