3 Compact Kitchen Appliances Great for Apartment Living.

Finding your dream kitchen in an apartment can be tough and highly unlikely. Most apartment kitchens have little to no counter space and never enough drawers and cupboards to store kitchen essentials. The last thing you want to do is get a bunch of huge kitchen appliances to take up counter space you already don’t have enough of. Today I thought I would share with you a few compact kitchen appliances that are the perfect apartment size and don’t take up half the kitchen. All of these appliances can be stored away easily in your cupboard and leave your kitchen with a minimalist clean look. You can shop everything down below! And you can also take a peek at my wish list for when I have my dream kitchen!

I debated on whether or not to get one of those fancy Nespresso machines for a long time. Even though it’s still something I desire, it’s not ideal for my kitchen space. Yes, with the amount of coffee I drink I would get soooo much use out of but I already feel like I don’t have enough counter space while cooking. So, instead of the Nespresso I opted for a milk frother. I asked for one for Christmas and it works like a charm. I can now make lattes and cappuccinos from the comfort of my own home. I no longer walk down the street to Starbucks when I long for a special coffee. Not only do I save counter space but I also save money! On this one by Salton you have the option of frothing milk hot or cold. I usually use the cold one because it leaves my coffee warm so I can drink it right away…

That’s right…I said mini. Kitchen Aid does a very affordable mini food processor that can hold up to 3 1/2 cups. It’s so small and takes up hardly any space. It’s great if you have lots of chopping to do for instance a spaghetti sauce. Instead of making a mess on a chopping board I dump my veggies into this and it does all the work for me. I always expected food processors to have so many pieces to clean, not this one. Three pieces and you’re done, very easy. On this one there is a chop setting and a puree setting. The puree setting is great for my cilantro-lime guacamole recipe you can find here!

We all want that Kitchen Aid Mixmaster. Not gonna lie, it’ll be the first thing I purchase once I have a house. Until then the handheld one will do just fine. I used this for all of my Christmas baking. I had loads of space to prepare everything without the bulk of the mixmaster. It’s small, compact and easy to store away. Obviously I had to buy both the hand mixer and mini food processor in the same color 😉
